Breathing is the foundation for all training.
There are a plethora of benefits to breathwork like reducing stress & anxiety, improving your sleep, & boosting your energy!
You have to control breathing when you do the exercise.

The general rule of thumb to breathing when working out is to breathe in while you lower the weights and breathe out as you lift the weights. The weight is can be part of your body, spring, cable, or resistance band.
In other words, inhale during the negative portion of the move and exhale during the positive portion of the move.
However, this can change for “challenging” when you are doing higher intensity with heavier resistance or for mobility and rehab training.
Generally when doing exhale your spine naturally flexes and to improves bending backward better with inhale. Stretching muscles is much more effective with exhales.
Breathwork is an active form of meditation also, that involves guided breathing exercises. Through
the conscious control of your inhales & exhales, you can experience immense changes in your mental, emotional, & physical states. Unlike meditation, you can feel immediate effects with breathwork!
Keep in mind the more you push air out from your body, the more you get in.
